APPLICATION ROLE: BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE DEVELOPER
ROLE AND ACTIVITIES
The candidate will be placed in the Business Intelligence section with the aim of carrying out analysis and development activities:
- Business Requirements Analysis: transform complex requests into technical specifications for the development of BI solutions;
- Data Warehouse Design and Implementation: creation of database schemas, definition of tables and relationships, and performance optimization;
- Development of Reports and Dashboards;
- Maintenance and Optimization: Monitoring and maintenance of existing BI solutions, with an eye towards optimizing performance and updating solutions based on changing business needs;
- Training and Support for End Users;
- Exploration of New Technologies: Experimentation with new technologies and tools, such as Azure Cloud, Power Platform and Machine Learning tools;
- Process Optimization: Using advanced knowledge such as SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS for data integration, analysis and reporting, improving the efficiency of business processes through automation and optimization;
- Exploring New Technologies: Experimenting with new technologies and tools, such as Azure Cloud, Power Platform, and Machine Learning tools, to evaluate how they can be integrated into BI solutions to bring improvements and innovations;
- Drafting of technical documentation;
- Presentation of Results;
- Post-Implementation Monitoring;
- Update and Patch Management: Keep BI solutions up-to-date with the latest patches and security updates. This involves testing updates in development or test environments before applying them in production to minimize the impact on business operations;
- Support and Troubleshooting.
CHARACTERISTICS
- Good organizational and relational skills and a spirit of adaptability to team work;
- Functional-application skills;
- IT diploma or degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent culture;
- Availability and predisposition for self-training;
- Adaptability to rapid changes in projects and technologies in use;
- Stress management;
- Knowledge of the English language.
SKILLS
- Knowledge of Data warehouse, Data Modeling, Power BI, SQL Server
- DAX, T-SQL development skills
- Knowledge of the English language
